UPDEED is committed to fostering a safe, positive, and respectful digital environment for changemakers of all ages. We have zero tolerance for content that exploits or endangers children.

Our Commitment to Child Safety

  • We prohibit any content or behavior that involves or promotes child sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment.

  • This includes (but is not limited to) CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material), grooming, solicitation, or content that depicts or encourages child abuse in any form.

Reporting & Moderation

  • All content on UPDEED is subject to proactive moderation using human review systems.

  • Users can report inappropriate content directly within the app.

  • Verified moderators respond to flagged reports and take swift action β€” including content takedown, user bans, and escalation to relevant legal authorities.

Collaboration with Authorities

  • UPDEED complies with applicable laws and cooperates with law enforcement, including reporting incidents involving CSAM to relevant cybercrime units or child protection agencies, such as NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) where required.

  • We follow industry best practices in preserving evidence and ensuring prompt response to lawful data requests.

Platform Features to Prevent Harm

  • UPDEED does not allow:

    • The posting of sexually explicit or suggestive images of minors.

    • Comments or content that sexually objectify or endanger children.

    • Anonymous or unmoderated private messaging that could be used for predatory behavior.

  • Profile content is monitored and any violation results in immediate suspension or permanent ban.

We actively educate our users about safe content practices, ethical storytelling, and respecting the dignity of vulnerable communities including children. Our Ambassador and Campaign Guidelines include specific instructions against posting identifiable photos of children without verifiable consent.
