Dear donors, I am thrilled to share an incredible journey with you - a journey that is close to my heart and driven by a burning desire to create positive change in the lives of menstruators across India. My name is Farheen Naaz, and together with my brother Abu Sufiyan, we founded WeTheChange (WTC), a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the silence surrounding menstruation and empowering menstruators with knowledge about menstrual health and hygiene. Growing up, our parents instilled in us strong values of compassion and giving back to society. Inspired by their teachings, we embarked on this remarkable journey to challenge the taboos and stereotypes associated with menstruation. We firmly believe that hushed period talks should be normalized, for every menstruator deserves to have access to proper menstrual health and hygiene.
