At Tunaweza Innovation Hub, we meet young people who’ve lived through more than most adults ever will - poverty, trauma, abandonment, early parenthood, or life on the streets.
Some of them walk over 7 kilometres just to reach our space in Bombo, Uganda. Many arrive hungry, without notebooks or phones, but they come with a fire to learn, to heal, and to lead.
We don’t just offer skills here.
We provide a safe, self-led, trauma-informed environment where each young person is treated with dignity, listened to, and supported as they rebuild their confidence and design a new future for themselves.
Through the SINA (Social Innovation Academy) model, our scholars learn to turn their experiences into purpose. They receive coaching, mentorship, and entrepreneurial training. They launch social initiatives. They become role models.
But they can’t do it alone.
With just $45, you can sponsor one scholar for 3 transformational months.
That support includes:
Daily meals that keep them focused

Transport assistance so they don’t have to choose between walking and learning

Learning materials, books, and digital tools to thrive

Coaching and a healing community that believes in them

We’ve seen former street youth launch recycling startups.
