About The Role

Selected candidate’s responsibilities include:

• Access leads of changemakers- Individuals/Organizations working across different social causes.
• Prepare the original write-up/video of changemaker’s journey and present it to the team.
• Content produced should be free of plagiarism.
• Minimum target of 15 changemaker’s stories to be completed in a month.

Skill(s) required

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience as a journalist or reporter.
• Ability to meet deadlines and fact-check information accurately.
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent communication and networking skills, as well as the ability to gather information efficiently.

Key Responsibilities-

Contribute to content generation activities of UPDEED.
-Work closely with marketing team for searching, writing, and publishing of impactful and powerful stories.
-Researching different partners on different social media networks that resonate with the idea of UPDEED for posting user stories on the platform.
-Reach out to influencers/organizations for their stories.
-Engage on the app and social media platforms.
-Building long-term relations with the users/influencers.
-Any other content writing/networking intervention proposed by the management of UPDEED or voluntarily by the UPTERN.

Required Skills & Qualifications
-Student pursuing bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Advertising / Mass Communication will be a plus.

Probation:
-Selected Interns will need to work for 15 days to be confirmed as an UPTERN.
-The 15 days probation period is to help UPTERNS reconsider their interest to be engaged with the cause of UPDEED and the internship opportunity.
-This probation period will also help the UPTERN Manager to gauge the willingness and capability of the UPTERNS to engage in UPDEED’s mission.
-On successful completion of the 15 days probation period, the UPTERN will be informed of the continuation of the internship.
