When disability is dealt with sympathy, we must realize that we still haven't evolved. If there is any way to deal with it, it is normalcy and equality. @rahulonwheels lost his ability to walk due to polio. But this didn't stop him from following his passion for cricket. He is a part of the Indian Wheelchair Cricket Team and a para- Swimmer. He has won several medals. Even after becoming a successful personality, difficulties didn't end for Rahul. Though a professional cricketer, he and his teammates never got any financial support from BCCI. The Indian Wheelchair Cricket Team has represented India many times on international platforms. But still, they have got no support from BCCI, which gets funding from various sources for the promotion of this sport. When we read about people like Rahul, we feel inspired and admire them, but is that admiration enough? All they ask for is support, which they deserve, equality which is their right. Is that too much to ask for?
