They come out in the city for work - as maids, cooks, sweepers, rag pickers, etc. Some of them stay in the forest and do farming and sell vegetables. They are the same as us, but with less privileges and it becomes our responsibility to introduce them to a better healthier safe sustainable lifestyle, especially when it comes to Personal Intimate Hygiene. I visited 5 such groups living in the park, and conducted awareness sessions on sustainable Menstruation and resolved their queries. Also donated cups to them. They were very happy to receive a sustainable option for periods. They said they live right in the lap of nature and they do not have the option to throw pads, so they end up either burning them or digging them in the ground. Menstrual Cups will take away all such hassles.
