@Dr Rajesh's journey began in March 2018 when his team of 40 educated people from Raigad district, Maharashtra conducted free medical camps in around 30 villages. During their mega eye medical camp, they provided 200 prescription glasses, completed 60 cataract surgeries, and also contributed to computer education for the children. But it's not only about the numbers. After enthusiastically talked to Dr Rajesh about the campaign, we were curious why his team consisted mostly of people from the remote areas and not from the city where there are more resources and funding donors. "I believe that you can give more than just money to help. My team has 30-50 people and the work we do is completely non-political. My team has people who want to help with their whole heart." we were taken aback by the tremendous commitment and passion this campaign has to help the vulnerable of our country. As Mother Teresa said, "It's not how much we give but how much we put into giving."
