Arpit excitedly recited his letter to his father, who had come to pick him up after the class at Unmukt. Both of them had radiant smiles that we had never seen before, and in that joyous moment, we all became so engrossed thay we had completely forgot to capture the moment with a photograph. :) On this Mother's day instead of making greeting cards, the unmukt kids wrote heartfelt gratitude letters to their mothers. These letters not only express their appreciation but also included heartfelt apologies and promises that they were determined to keep. The children beautifully decorated their letters, adding an extra touch of love. This task was assigned to all the facilitators as well. While the children approached it with boundless enthusiasm, we found it challenging to convey our emotions and write our own letters (our letters are still pending) It made us realize how over time, we have distanced ourselves and how much courage it takes to break down the walls and rebuild relationships.
